Claire Peterson is a California based costume designer. Originally from a small town in Montana, she found interest and individuality through the art of theatre and design.

With a main focus in theatre for social change, Claire strives to create a space where all people have the opportunity to feel safe and represented.

She currently works as the Resident Design Assistant at La Jolla Playhouse. Some design credits include: RENT at Diversionary Theatre, Colorín Colorado at La Jolla Playhouse, Merry Me at Diversionary Theatre, and Man and Moon at MOXIE Theatre.
